National Institute of Intellectual Property
On October 7–8, 2026, a training workshop on “Patent Database Searches and the Development of Technology and Innovation Support Centers in Kazakhstan” will be held in Astana.
The event is organized by the World Intellectual Property Organization (WIPO) and the RSE “National Institute of Intellectual Property” (Kazpatent).
The seminar aims to enhance the professional knowledge and competencies of staff members of Technology and Innovation Support Centers (TISC), as well as to familiarize participants with modern tools, information resources, and WIPO services in the field of patent information and support for innovation activities.
The event will be attended by representatives of WIPO, Clarivate Analytics, as well as coordinators and staff members of Kazakhstan’s national TISC network. TISC website link: https://tisc.kazpatent.kz/en/.
The event program will also include discussion sessions and opportunities for sharing practical experience, during which participants will be able to discuss current issues related to TISC activities, receive practical recommendations, and ask questions to representatives of WIPO and Clarivate Analytics.
