Kazpatent Held a Series of Online Training Webinars for Business Representatives from Kazakhstan’s Regions

From July 8 to August 10, 2026, Kazpatent, jointly with the Training Center of the Almaty Branch, with the support of the “Atameken” National Chamber of Entrepreneurs of the Republic of Kazakhstan and territorial Departments of Justice, conducted a series of online training webinars for representatives of small and medium-sized businesses, domestic manufacturers, and aspiring entrepreneurs.

The online webinars were organized for business representatives from 14 regions of Kazakhstan: Abai, Aktobe, Atyrau, East Kazakhstan, Zhambyl, Zhetisu, West Kazakhstan, Karaganda, Kostanay, Kyzylorda, Mangystau, Pavlodar, North Kazakhstan, and Ulytau regions.

The training activities were aimed at improving the legal literacy of business representatives and providing clarification on the mechanisms for the legal protection and enforcement of intellectual property rights.

The webinars addressed current issues in the field of intellectual property. Participants received practical information in the following areas:

  • trademark registration and brand protection;
  • registration of geographical indications and appellations of origin;
  • industrial design registration;
  • protection of businesses against unfair competition;
  • use of intellectual property as a tool for business development;
  • practical aspects of filing applications and using the Kazpatent personal account.

Particular attention during the webinars was given to practical issues related to the registration of intellectual property assets, their legal protection, and their effective use in business activities.

Such training activities contribute to improving the legal literacy of business representatives, expanding their knowledge of intellectual property protection mechanisms, and developing practical skills for using intellectual property to support and protect their businesses.

Kazpatent will continue, jointly with the Training Center, to conduct educational activities aimed at raising business representatives’ awareness of intellectual property and developing practical competencies in the field of legal protection and enforcement of intellectual property rights.
