On February 26, 2026, a strategic session on the development of a foresight research and predictive analytics system in the field of science and technology was held in Almaty. The event brought together representatives of the scientific community, government agencies, and expert organizations to discuss tools for forecasting scientific and technological development and strengthening the national innovation ecosystem.
During the session, Sabit Akhmetov, Director of RSE “NIIP” gave a presentation on “Intellectual property as a key source of data for foresight and predictive analytics.” In his speech, he emphasized that patent information is a unique array of structured data that allows identifying technological trends, assessing the dynamics of scientific directions, and making informed management decisions.
A key event was the signing of a memorandum of cooperation between RSE “NIIP” and the National Academy of Sciences of Kazakhstan under the President of Kazakhstan.
