In June 23-25, 2010 The Training Center of the Branch of State Enterprise “National Institute of Intellectual Property” of Committee for Intellectual Property Rights of the Ministry of Justice of the Republic of Kazakhstan holds Training Workshop “Valuation and commercialization of the objects of industrial property. Commercial value of trademarks”

On Workshop will consider follow developments: common positions of the legal enforcement of objects of industrial property, procedure for filling of application and examination of the documents of title for objects of industrial property (inventions, useful models, industrial designs, trademarks, appellation of origin) in accordance with legislative of the Republic of Kazakhstan, filing an application abroad, International Conventions and Agreements in the field of industrial property protection, issues on a legal status of the documents of title, using and commercialization of objects of industrial property, the order of consideration of notices of opposition at Courts of Appeal, disputes by juridical means, about valuation of the objects of industrial property, etc.

Workshop program also includes the lecture “Practicalities of valuation of the objects of industrial property. Distinctive features of trademark valuation in the Republic of Kazakhstan”.

Realization of practical training of drawing up and filling for trademarks promotes by International classification of Goods and Services.

As the lecturers at the workshop will speak chiefs and principal experts of Services of the Branch of the State Enterprise, also the objects of an industrial property specialists; patent attorneys; Professor, Doctor of Engineering, who engaged in adoption of the objects of industrial property; representatives of “Industrial property owners association of the Republic of Kazakhstan” LLC, “Trademark owners association of the Republic of Kazakhstan” LLC and “Baker Tiller Kazakhstan” LP were been invited.

Attendees will be provided by handouts, which contain electronic presentations of lectures and normative documents. During lecture time mentioned the coffee-break.

On the morrow of workshop will be provided by certifications.
